Getting there
Drive to Mount Townsend Trailhead (FR 27-190), then hike 4.5 mi via Mount Townsend Trail #839, Silver Lake Trail #842, boot path south to the summit to reach this trail.
Approach from Trail Atlas research (source), low confidence. Not field-checked. OSM labels conflict: it names the point 0.3 mi west 'Mount Townsend Lower TH', while WTA directions say FR 27-190 is the main TH. Check on the ground.
