Finding the trailhead

Access
Paved road to Elwha Ranger Station

Getting there

Drive to North Fork Trailhead (Quinault), then hike 19.5 mi via North Fork Quinault River Trail, Elwha River Trail, connecting segment to Elwha Basin Way to reach this trail.

Directions to road trailhead

Approach from Trail Atlas research (source), low confidence. Not field-checked. The north approach from Madison Falls is far longer because of the closed road. The 1.8 mi connector is labeled 'Happy Hollow Trail' in NPS GIS, which looks like a label error.

From public park, forest and WTA info. Roads and access change, so check before you go.
